Jack Boardman

Jack Boardman, 85, of Clinton, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019, at Union Hospital in Clinton.
He was born December 12, 1933, in Terre Haute, to Joseph Herman Boardman and Lucille Whalen Boardman.
He was a graduate of Butler University and Indiana State University and had received his Masters Degree. He worked for IBM as a systems engineer. He also was a licensed undertaker and had worked at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Home in Indianapolis.  He retired from the maintenance department at Indiana State University.  Jack also was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean era as a medic.
He was a former member of the Clinton Lions Club and the Half-Century Club and was a member of the Clinton Assembly of God Church.  He enjoyed his grandkids, Snoopy his dog, and watching the Pacers and Colts play.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mildred.
Survivors include His children Angela (Bob) Craig of Elizabethtown, KY, Kevin Boardman of Clinton, Lisa (John) Wolfe of Clinton, Suzanne Shannon of Clinton, and Kristi (Rick) Antonini of Edwardsville, IL; 1 sister, Betty Nasser of Clinton; 12 grandchildren, Melissa, Karyn, Casey, Teddy, Cody, Sean, Adam, Jordan, Cody,, Elizabeth, Nicholas, and Sophia; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 11 am to 1 pm at Frist Funeral Home with funeral services at 1 pm at the funeral home. Military rites will be performed.   Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society.
